Tho annual icport showed satisfactory state of affan s, .the' Society having'funds totalling £875,/shojvjing ail increase of 100 por cent during' the year. Messrs. ■ R,: J. Linn (Normahby), H. B. Leppcr (Lepperton) : and G', G. C. Dernier (Cheltenham) were to .fill the three new positions.on the council. It was resolved.; to' increase the judges', list by at- least'-'twenty names. It was further resolved,that the Government shouldvhe-asked-to improve the herd of Jersey cattle, anol-that the present system/of marking.cattle be continued. ■ Mi'. J.
