THE HON. JOHN FISHER
The Hon. John Fisher is a farmer in tho Waikato district; In the 'early days ho. was one of the pioneers in Manscrc, near Auckland. Later both lie ami his brother settled on the land' at Pukerimu, near Cambridge. Ho has always taken a" very keen interest in local government ami rjublic matters generally, and has held quite a number of positions oil local bodies. He has heon. chnirmaii of the Waipa County Council, and for many years has served on the local Farmers' Clubs. He is' at president, of the Waikato Central Agricultural and Pastoral Association, ami a member of. the Auckland Harbour Hoard. Ho is looked upon as one of the leading farmers of his rlistw-h. ".o
lias also served' on ( tho Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. Mr.' Fisher is ono of tho, most popular and highly respected residents of the Waikato district-. Ho has a large family,'tlio. majority of whom aro settled,.in various parts of tho Waikato.
