THE VEEDEE

.In conucction with the demonstration to be given-by the Veedee specialists; at the Town Hall Concert Chamber next Wednesday night, it is interesting to note something nliout the early history of tho machine itself. Tho Veedee, it appears, is tho outcome of many years' experimenting on tho part of'inventors and scientists all over the world, which culminated some eleven years ago in Che invention and ■ introduction of the Veedee as tho first practical hand-driven vibrator ever made. At,, the start, the machines were only supplied to medical men, mid at u high price. .' Very soon, however,, a 'demand began to make itself felt amongst 'the'members of the public, and as at the same time! it was found that no special knowledge was - required to operate the Veedee, arrangements were made to supply this demand. The first demonstrations were given in England in 1909-1910, and since thou nearly every civilised country has been visited. More recently the Veedee specialists have been through Australia, and have already given! demonstrations in Diuiedin, Christchureh, and Timaru. .The one 'to lie given here, will be the fourth in New Zealand. IVee reserved seat, tickets may be lwd on application at the Veedee Institute, 125 Willis Street, Wellington.'. .
