Sir,—Now that tEo session is fairly started I tliinlc.it about time wo wireless "amateurs" began to "buck \ip" and agitato for a system, of legislation lr.oro favourable to us tlian that at present existing, ill! tho apparatus used by us -is home-made; excepting, perhaps, the telepliono receivers, and anyone can- imagine how.wo feel when we are. forced to dismantle our precious instruments. ' Tf t,he Government thinks that if -it allowed "amateurs" to setid and receive, they would interfere with the commercial stations, it could readily put such restrictions on tho amateur as would cut out this interference, and at, the same timo allow'him perfect, freedom. I suggest that tlio Government .holds an examination, issues licenses, ami allows only licensed amateurs to erect stations/ Trust to receive your co-operation in this matter.—l am, etc., POTENTIOMETER.
