■ ■» HON. H. R. EMMERSON. By Telegraph-Prw3 Afisocintion-CoDyriirht Dorchester (N. 8.), July 9. Tho Hon. H. R. Emmersou, K.C., P.C., LL.D., and a member or the New Brunswick Parliament, is dead. Henry Rotot Emmerson was lorn in New Brunswick on September 25, 1853 and cdneated at tho Acadia College (Novji Scotia), and Boston University. Hβ was admitted as en attorney in 1877 and as i. barrister ill 1878. He entered Parliament in 18SS. and became Chief Commissioner of Public Works'in 1892, and later Premier and Attorney-flenpral of Now Brunswick. He was also , for a time Canadian Minister of Bailirays and Canals.
