The Continental C. and:G.- Rubber Company. Proprietor} 7, Ltd., ' Christc'luirch, has-received telegraphic advice to the effect that the French Grand Prix, held over tho Lyons course, a distanco of 4 86 miles, was won by a Mercedes tar. Second and third places were, also filled by Mercedes cars, all' three cars being equipped with Continental tyres. Tho winner covered, the 48i3 : miles in 7 hours 1 ininuto 13 seconds, equivalent, to tho terrific speed of a shade over 69 niilas-per. hou?.j ' -.., ■:■ .
