an outcome of 1 Mr. Meagher's attitudo tow aids the Couucil nominations, which at one time threatened to split the Parliamentary Labour Part}. Mr. Holmaa, m speeches made during tho recess, showed,strong resentment against the Labour Conference's attempt to control the nominations to the' Council, and warmly cuticised Mr. Meagtiei's attitudo in ,the matter.
Mr. Holman, in the Assemblj, mado "s ii vigoious i reply to Mr. Wade. Ho denied that anything in-tho nature of the charge' as suggested by N Mr. Wado could be wad in tho :\ords he used, 'there was no improprietj either implied . or intended against any member ot tho ' House.
