According to tho Department of Agriculture tho total number of bales 'of hemp, at tho .ports-of tho.Dominion during; Juno, was 5901, as compared with 1 IjSSI for, the corresponding month of last year, a decrease of BGSO For the twelve months ending Juno 30, 1911, tho number of bales graded was 13-1,876, as compared with 145,061 for tho previous twclvo months, tho decrease being 10.783 Jialcs. During the month 1975 bales of tow were dealt with, as compared with SU-1 for tho corresponding month of last year, a decrease of 3169 bales. For. tho twclvo months ending Juno 30, HIM, the Kimibor of hairs graded was 13,"10, as compared with 00,553 for the J irovious twclvo months, a' decrease of 383-1 bales.. ~ „,, During the- month tho number of bales of stripper slips graded was 23, as compared with 57G for the eorrespoiiding month of last'year, a decrcaso <if 553; bales. For tho twclvo months ending: June 30, 1911, the number of ball's dealt with was 3GU.
