Aii extraordinary accident occurred in Whitehall (f.omlon), in which a gentleman in a mo'lor-btts had a miraculous escape. A pair-horsed van collided with tho 'bus, and tin polo of tho van oraehed through the side of the bus, pinning tho passenger, who was seated on the opposite side: Tho man was extricated and conveyed to tho hospital, where it was found lie had escaped injury, and was merely, eu&'ering from shock.
