STRUCK BY LIGHTNING

Isnnc Barnes, a young Castluford miner, v.as struck by lightning and blinded on Wednesday. While lying in bod on Thursday he was struck, again and thrown to the floor. He exclaimed: "Thank God, I can SCO." It proved to bo correct that his sight had returned. CASUALTIES AT A HCNIC. (Rec. July 5, 5.5 p.m.) Hew York, Jnlv 4. Two persons_ wpro killed and fifteen injured at a picnic ground at Sallisan (Okht.), when a building, in which many had taken refuse from a storm, ivaa struck by lightning.
