SYDNEY SHEEP SHOW.
By Telegraph—Press Aewciation—Copyright (ltec. July 3, 1 8.40 p.m.) Sydney, July 3. His- Excellency the. Governor to-day officially opened the sheep show. The Minister of Agriculture- (the Hon. J. L. Trefle) . said that the sheep in 'Now South Wales at tho end of .1913 numbered 39,843,000, an increase, of 759,000.
The' president of the Sheepbreeders' Association referred to the growing disposition to replace merinos with crossbreds. The numbei* of crossbreds had greatly increased during tho past few. years.
