LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ui., Masterton, report hnving held their ' weekly salo at Pahlatua, when there was a very fair yarding of stock, which met with only fair competition. The following prices were realised:—Sheep: 4 and 5-ycar Lincoln skin ewes, in lamb to Lincoln ranis, 2£s.; s.ra. ewes in lamb -to lioraney rams, 205.; fat ewes, 18s. lid.; i. and f. liimbs, 165.; forward empty ewes, 14s. 6d.; m.e. white-face lambs, 12a 6d.; cllll ewes,'Bs. 3d. Cattle: Yearling ompty heifers, £2 2s. V, Messrp. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Mnsterton, report having held their weekly sale nt Solway on Wednesday, when there was only a small entry of stock, of which a total clearance was made at the following price.;:—Hheep: Forward woolly lambs, 145.: fat ewes, to 19s.
