WILFORD (Hutt) gavo notico to ask the Minister of Education, whether he .would, in tho new Bill to be introduced, provide that superannuation, granted to teachers on retirement, should be granted on the bost fciireo years of service, instead of on the last three years of service. PRIVATE MEMBERS' BILL. Mr. "W. A. VEITCH '(Wanganui) introduced the Proportional Representation and Effective Voting Bill. • He gave his reasons for introducing the Bill, which weroj ,in brief, that proportional representation was the one- method by which correct representation could be assured when there were more than two political parties, in the House.
