HARRIERS.
The Central Harriers held their threemile sealed handicao at Miramar. The race started from the Miramar Tearooms. The starter, Mr. George Frost, sent the men away at' 3 sharp. The course led from the Tearooms around the back of Wondorland, to tho gasometer, then across tho Hat to the old CTlf house, and along the road, back to the starting point. F. Hodges took, up tho lead soon after the start, followed bv F. J. Burrell and A. Hughes, with Aldridge and Rough closo up. This order was maintained to the gasometer, where A. C. Rowlands displaced Rough and Hughes. Oil reaching the golf house F. Hodges still maintained tho lead, with Burrell verv close. Here Rowland caught_ Aldridste, and had a good fight for third place, Rowland beating Aldridge by some 200 yards. The finishing times were:—F. Hodges. ISmin. 2osee., 1; T'\ .J. Burrell, lOinin. 6sec., 2; .Rowland, 20min. 22sec.. .1. When the handicaps Here adjusted it was found that E. Aldridge was first, with handicap 165 sec., 17niin. sosec.: F.
