VEITCH (Wanganui) gavo notico to introduce the Proportional Representation and Effective Voting Bill. Mr. J. A. HANAN asked whether it was the intention of the Government to refer the Bill dealing with Bible in schools to the Education Committee. If tho Bill wcro referred to this committee, which could hear evidence, it would obviate, tho necessity for the presentation of numerous petitions.The . Hon. J. ALLEN (Minister. of Education) said, that if petitions wero presented they would be dealt with by tho. Petitions Classification Committee.
