Orton Stsvens. Several places have been suggested as a sito.for a high school for Butt and 'Pctonc, the Hutt Talk being frequently mentioned. A keen education-! isfc suggests :i sito at Percy's Gardens as most suitable, tin account of its sheltered position, and its beauty. A. position on-Percy's site would bo in close proximity to both Hutt and Pctono railway stations, and would liavo tho advantage of being on the msin arterial roadway. Tho same gentleman suggests that a high school on this section might serve as a memorial' to the early settlers who landed on Pctono beach, as ifc would directly overlook the spot wliere tho pioneers first toncJicd the soil of New Zealand.
