Router's Belgrade -correspondent states that Kiug Peter I of Servia has abdicated in favour of Prince Alexander, the heir-apparent, on tho ground of continued ill-health. King Peter Karaßcorgevitch I, who succeeded. Alexander I on the murder of the last-named on June 11, 1903. was born in 1844. Prince Alexander is his second •son, born in ISBB.
