A prehistoric account of the deluge, found by Dr. Langdou amongst tho Babylonian Tablets, disinterred at 'Nippur, is believed to ho tho original of that preserved in the Book of Genesis. The samo tablet also contains a reference to the Fall of Man, tho first reference to the Fall found iu Babylonian literature. ,
