-6- — BUILDING TRADES LABOURERSTho dispute of the, huildinc trades labourers was be-fore the Coneiliatiion Council yesterday morning. Mr.' P. Rally (Commissioner) presided. Assessor's for the employers were Messrs. W. H. Bennett, W. L. Thompson, and A, L. Wilson. For the employees, the assessors were Mes-srs. G. Weller, P. J. Lyons, and J. Kennedy. Mr. E. Kennedy appeared for the Butlding jjabourers' Union, and Mr. W. A. Grenfell for the employers, s tlio nnioii's claims "have been previously published. Mir,' Ballijigerj speaking on behalf of the plumbing trade, -asfce-d far exemption. .'The plumbing trade, he said, was : quito distinct from the building trade. .
