THE WORLD'S UNIVERSAL CODE. The- second edition of the "World's Universal Code," which, made its first appearance about two years ago, i« now out, and the latest edition is a vast improvement on the llrst. It contain*? someffiOO more words, and is, for all practical uses, a■:omDletc coded dictionary. The tables aro better arranged, and some of the tahles in the first edition have been entirely recast. All the tobies interlock with one another, jind also with the body of the code. An entirely new departure is the interlocking with practically all the more gcnerallyueed codes. .There hns been added a, Hit of geographical namef containing the more important cities of the world. Forte are specially indicated, also those where a Lloyd's representative is stationed. Full instructions for the w-e of the code,, with many cxa-molcs showing the most economical way of cable-writing, are given, and thufi anyone can in a very short while b«come proficient in the nee of this code. It in obvious that very great pains have been taken to make the code as complete as possible, and,it should prove of great service to the'commercial classes. The compiler i≤ Mr. Th. de Schryver, of Auckland.
