TO MEET TO-DAY REMITS ON SERVICE MATTERS. A conference- of senior Territorial officers, in conjunction with officers of tho Headquarters Stuff, opens at tho Gnrrison Club, Buckle Street, at 10 o'clock ' this morning. MajorGenonil Godley, Commandant of the Now ■ Zealand Deferiee Fofces, will be present, and other staff officers attending will bo tho Chief of tho General Staff, awl Director of Staff Duties and Military Training (Colonel E. S. Heard), the Adjutant-General (Lieutenant* Colonel the Hon. R. H. Collins), the QuaTtormaster-General (Colonel A. W. llobin), and tho Director of Ordnance (Lieutenant-Colonel ,G. W. Johnston). A largo number of remits, having for their object the improvement of the efficiency of tll6 Territorial Fortes, will bd disouesed during tho conference, which will extend over two days. ..
