Tho .woman has been grieving over the loss,of .her son.. . ~ ■ '.Starchfield and. his wifo were living apart.- The case against tho man depended entirely,on identification by three witnesses, and : tlie Judge suggested that it was'not safe to allow'it to go to tho purr. Mr. Bodkin,- K.C., for the Crown, tterenpoi' ngree'd to discontinue tho case, mid Btarchjield was discharged.
