MILITARY APPOINTMENT
' DISTRICT COMMAND.' Major F. E. Johnston, son of the Hon. O, J. Johnston, M.L.C., who is at present in New Zealand on furlouch from India, has accepted the post at officer commanding the Wellington Military District, rendered vacant by tho pronation of Colonel Chaytor to the position of Adjutant-General of the New {jMlnml Defence Forces.
