WHARF ACCIDENT. SHACKLING A GUY TO A RING. Whilst ' working on the steamer Morula on Saturday a wharf-labourer named Olc Peterson, who resides at No 17' Jossio Street, had tho tops of tho two middle lingers cut off. He is an employee* of the Union Company, and at 6.30 a.m. was busy shackling the end of a guy to a ring in ono of tho hatch 'dombings. The derrick, of which the guy was one of tho stays, swung aside, and when the (,ear jerked tight his" Sogers were caught between the shackle .and tho ring.
