FINAL STAGES. MEETING OF STOCK BREEDERS. (Bj T»l«frapli.—Special Correspondent.) Palmorston, Juno 19. , The record National Dairy Show camo to an end this •evening and, despite n -ivet morning, making'underfoot conditions somewhat unpleasant, thoro was another' excellent attendance during the day. Tho ring events comprised push-ball and turning competitions, a tug-of-war contest, and an Association football match between tho representatives of Wellington and Manawatu. Only two teams entered for the pushball competitions, A. (i. Macfarland's •combination beating one drawn from the Manawatu Hunt Club. In tho turning competition it was necessary for ' the rider to make a complete circle round each of seven posts in line, and then gallop hack to the starting point. Out of six entries Ray M'Kenisie (Carnarvon) was first, and Miss Jessie Angus, the well-known lady rider, second. Three-teams entered for tho tug of war contest, Palmcrston North Old 15oys winning from the Gas Company's ami llorough Council's employees representatives, v:
