B. Paton, solo selector, reported that he had chosen the following jilaycrs to. proceed to Palmerston tomorrow _to play Manawatu:—-Cobb, Cross, Wallis, Heath, Roots, Skinner, Daily, Hughes, Gibson, O'Shea, and Ballard., The Tramways.Club wrote asking if it. could be arranged for their team to be given a bye every alternate Wednesday. —It was decided to give the matter consideration. ■■■.■•■"' Two letters were received complaining of the state of tho Miramar 'and Petone grounds. As the former letter was anonymous it was idecided to take no notice of it. In regard to the second letter, however, it was resolved that St. David's Club bo asked to furnish a' report on the ground. / Concerning relations betweon the Wellington Football . Association and tho New Zealand Council oyer the ensn ! of Mr. T. Crouch, tho secretary of tho latter body wrote stating that a resolution, to reopen tho case had been lost, and after discussion it had been decided that tho Wellington Association be informed that the council would be prepared to favourably consider any representations with a v.iow to terminating the suspension beforo the expiration pf tho full period, i'f supported "ny the Wellington Association. • _ After a lengthy' discussion it was deeded, on tho motion of Mr. A. Williams (secretary), and seconded by Mr. J B Paton, that a reply"bo sent to the .New Zealand Football Couucil as follows — It is with great regret that iva note that your council did not seo fit to reopen tho Crouch case, • as requested by the W.F.A, Committee. lam instructed to inform you that wo have no representations to make in tho direction of terminating' tho suspension before the expiration of same, and wo can only re,s?rt'°,nocn2"l'se - V( > u r disqualification' of Mr. T.
