EVELEIGH ROBBERY
a ANOTHER ARREST EFFECTED. By Telegraph—Frees Association—Copyright Sydney, June 17. A further arrest has been made in connection with the Eveleigh robbery. Tho police were awaiting the arrival of a certain individual at the Strathfield station, but he saw the police and ran off. He was pursued along tho rails and threatened to shoot the police, but was eventually captured. (Rec. Juno 17, 10 p.m.) Sydney, June 17. In connection with tho Strathfield arrest, a man named Samuel Freeman, with several aliases, has been remanded on a charge of attempting to discharge an automatic pistol at Detective Hooper, with intent to murder him. The police have intimated that they have suspected accused as being the principal in tho Eveleigh hold-up, with wliich it is intended to charge him. Bail has been refused. Tho police 'o-day detained two more men in connection with tho hold-up.
