HARRIERS.

In spite of tho boisterous weather, the Olympic Harriers turned out a pack of 17 at Lyall Bay on Saturday afternoon. Starting from Hart's tea-rooms at the tramway terminus, the pack, under the direction of its captain, mado straight for Miramar and on .to the hills overlooking Woreer Bay, then back to the Miramar tram terminus, to see the start of the Wellington Harriers' Palmer Cup race. Here a cold southerly shower made it necessary to got under way again, and after a sharp sprint down Miramar straight the- pack split up, 6ome of the members going by the shortest route to Lyall Bay, the remainder, some 12 in number, going in the direction of the old golf house, and putting in some fast cross-country work across Miramar to tho city boundary. From hers an easy pace was maintained to the. Lyall Bay junction at Kilbirnie, where tho pack was handicapped for the run-in. This resulted after a hard struggle in a win for F. Hodson, with C.
