ALCOCK DINER' SNOOKER HANDI- ' 'CAP. .. The abovo tournament commenced last- evening at Messrs. jOcockand Co.'s, Ltd., showroom before a good gathering. of spectators, who witnessed spmo very interesting play. The principal game was between W, N. Tucker and A. Ceruthty, the former making a sensational finish by potting the pink when covered with tho black, and followed this up with potting tho black, which, gavo him the verdict by ten Points. F. Sewell had an easy win over F. A. Roado by 35 points; E. 11. .Tacobscn defeated G. H. Emmins by 103 points; H. H. Porter beat W. J. Billman by 42 points. The games for Wednesday arc as under:—H. 6. Code v G. H. Bradley, A. H. Cockayne v. J. W. Hart; B. Ingram v. E. N. Kelman; and W. Harvey v. C. J. Lockwood. This latter game is in place of F. A. Laws and F. A. Noes, as previously announced. . ■.
