HOUSE MATCH. The annual match for possession of tho Challenge Cup which has been held by tho team representing tho combined firms of Messrs. G. Thomas and Co., Thompson 8r05.,, Ltd., Griffiths and Co., Ltd., N.F.C., and Tounsend nnd Paul, Ltd., was again contested by Laory and Co., Ltd.'s team at tlio Athletic Park yesterday in disagreeable weather. After an evenly-fought match, which was marked by several instances of oxcollent play, the match ended in a draw, no scoro on cither side resulting. For tho combined team, Fumesa, Compten, Osborne, Roberts (2), Boyd, and Cunningliamo excelled, and for Laery's team, Thompson, Thomas, Stewart, Pliinix, Ray : Brown, Burch, and Foley were the mainstays. Despite tie weathor, a fairly large number of spectators attended the match. Mr. Roskruge made an efficient referee.
