PYJAMA PLAGUE.
SUITS FOR ULSTER VOLUNTEERS. A plague of pyjamas lias overtaken Belfast, and the talo of the hundred thousand pairs of these garments which have been prepared for the Ulster Defence League shows that a >senso cf humour has not deserted the city. Dorcas societies began making pyjamas first, by the dozen, and then by tho hundred. St. Andrew's had the record, and St. Phillip's, spurred on to fresh endeavour, wrested it from ther.i. I The first circle found tlicy were fulling behind in tho contest. "Willing hands cut the patterns and in the race wealthy enthusiasts went outsido tho circle and hired poor seamstresses to sew the garments. Now there is one pair of pyjames for every Volunteer. When the next census of pyjamas is taken thero will probably lie t^vo- pairs, for tliey are still coming in to headquarters.
