A meeting of the Lower Hutt Borough Council was held on Monday. Tiie Mayor (Mt. 11. ' The engineer's report stated the laying of tho 4-iiicli gai> mam had been competed and all connections with tho branch mains inado. The work of taking up the-old main was proceeding.
