The International Amateur Swimming Federation has replied in the negative to Australia's question as to whether a swimming organiser and instructor, paid by the Education Department!, could be considered an amateur. The Federation carried the English resolution that the amateur status of a school master teaching swimming as part of tho school curriculum is not endangered.
