NEW CANADIAN FORTNIGHTLY .SERVICE. By Telegraph—Pro63 Association—Copyriflit (Roc. June 9, 9.45 p.m.) Ottawa, June 8. The Canadian Government, is establishing a new trans-Pacific mail service, with fortnightly, instead of monthly steamers, as hitherto. Two of the C.P.R.'s fastest "Empress" .liners will be included in the service. The old mail contract has expired, and the British Government has refused to continue its contribution.
