■;■■■ 'DIED IN THE BUSH. . [TEMPORARY. LOSS'OF MEMORY. (By Telcexaph.—Pioss Association.) . Dunedin, Juno 2. Mr. C. C. Graham, Coroner, held an inquest this, morning concerning the death of Robert Martin Crosbie, who was found , in tho bush, off Dundas Street, on Sunday afternoon. On tho evening of May 20,' Crosbie, who was manager of' Messrs. Burt's Factory, left Port Chalmers by tho 5.15 tram for his home in Cumberland Street; Diihcdin, but was not heard of again until the body was discovered. Tho cvidenco .'indicated -that deceased apparently got off the train at Pclichet Bay. Thero was no sign of a struggle where the body was found. A number of "matches, somo used, and somo not, , seemed to indicate that deceased had been trying to find his way. out of the bush. ' ■■■ . : ' )' A verdict was. returned ■ that "death was duo to exposure, deceased having temporarily lost his memory, and so bcoii unable' to. find his way homo. .".-. LAW STUDENT'S DEATH. CASE OF INFANTILE PARALYSIS.. Stratford, Juno 2. Cedric Crawshaw, second son of Mr. W.' J. G'mvsh'aw, manager of'tho Bank., of Nen' Zealand, died'this morning after a short illness lasting only.a week,-from infectious spinal paralysis, commonly known as infantilo paralysis. Deceased recently .sat- for his final law examination at Wellington. Ho returned to Stratford a/week ago. supposed ;to bo, suffering from influenza. Medical, aid was obtained on Friday night, but'tho patient grew worso, succumbing to complete paralysis early this morning.
