The Hutt Valley Dramatic Sociot.y is rehearsing the comedy "Dr. Wnkfi's Patient," and it is expected to be staged during August. The sodtfty's productions are played wholly in'the interests of charity. A prc-sessional social in -cairacctioH with the Petone Wesley Literary and Debating Society was held last evening, the Rev. J. J. presiding; over a large and enthusiastic ing.
