REMOVAL OF A POLICE PREFECT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyricht Rome, May 28. The Prefect at Naples lias been removed from his post as a result of tho recent Aiistro-Italian brawls. He failed to carry out tho Government's instructions. -

Anti-Austrian brawls occurred in Venice, Verona, and Milan earlier in the present month. Students burnt tho Austrian flag in St. Mark's Square in Venice. The disturbances were due to tho action of tho pro-Slav Governor of Trieste refusing to employ Austrian subjects of ■ Italian nationality.
