Gd. to 11s.. but mostly 7s. to 95.; Victorian and South Australian, 7s. Gd. to 12s. !)d. Pears brought 4s. to 7s. 9d. At a meeting of fanners at llnntorville on Saturday evening it was resolved that all present pledge themselves to support a proposal for tta establishment of freezing works at Manfiaoriono. A committee" was formed for the purpose of conferring with representatives of the companies now operating in the • district, as to terms, final selection ot site, and other matters in connection with the scheme. Mr. Wm. M'Keown, of Te Ro-ti has been appointed manager of the beatlierst'on Daory Company's factory, out ot 'forty applicants.
