The High Commissioner and Miss Mackenzie, were- last week invited to present the prizes won by the scholars of tif> Tollington Public School, Muswel! Hilt, at the Alexandra Palace, the groat hall of .which was full. On the orchestra seats behind the platform there were about 700 pupils, the main portion'of the hall accommodating about four thousand. Miss Mackenzie was welcomed by the president, and presented with a beautiful bouquet by one of the senior pupils. Mr. Mackenzie' delivered' a short address, dealing chiefly with educational matters, ancVhis daughter then distributed the prizes won by the lads, and the High Commissioner those won by tho girls. At tho cfoso of the proceedings, hearty chwrs were given for Mr. and Miss Mackenzie.
