4, - At tho regular meeting of tho Timnru Presbytery, held last w«>k, the Rev. Thomas Siinso.n moved a resolution pledging; the Presbytery to tiie Bible-in-Statc-Schools Leagtie platform, and calling on the Government to grant the referendum asked for bv the Leasue. The motion was seconded by tho Rt v v. A. B. Todd, clerk of the Presbyterv, and spppclies in support of it wery delivered by the Revs. A. S. 3fornsnn, of and J. (;;ni ,; ;, of Fairlie. The motion was unanimously carried.
