The second awiual meeting of the Okie Club was held in Winder's Buildings last night. Mr. George Winder presided. The secretary vead .numerous apologies for non-atto»dati.ice. Ho stated that ho had been promised three lectures from prominent citizens to to given before the club during tho coming session. He also stated that a prominent citizen had promised a valuable trophy for competition among tho Catholic schools for an essay on a Celtic subject. On account of the poor attendance it wlvs thought advisable to hold over all other business and tho election of offiwsts till a-future meeting of the society to ba ItcSd on May 28.
