Wedding in St. Paul's,

The wedding took place in St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral yesterday afternoon of Miss May Gladys Marmout, daughter of Mr. J. \Y. Marmout, of Molcsworth Street, to Mr. Duncan G. Campbell, of Christchurch. The Itev. C. 11. iiarvcy performed the ceremony. Tins bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming gown of white satin, trimmed with pearls, ahd a lace tunic, and carried a bouquet of white flowers. She was attended by her sisters, the Misses Beryl and Elodie Marruont, and Miss Imclda Fama, who ait wore- white satin frocks, trimmed with swansdown, and carried bouquets of bronze chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Onslow Bengc and Mr. Lmtis Fama. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell loft later in the afternoon for their future home in the south, th® bride wearing a brown travelling frock, a mole fur toque, and sable furs. A reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents. The presents included a handsome Doulton vase from Sir Joseph and Lady Ward. Wedding at Christchurch. The marriage took place an Monday in the Papanui Church, Christchurch, of Miss Vera .Muriel Bright-, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. It. W. Caldwell, of James's Avenue, Papanui, to Mr. Alexander H. 0. Irvine, of Palmersten North. The bride -was given away by her brother, Mr. George Bright, and wore a gown of cream satin charm-euse, with a veil and wreath of orango blossoms. She carried a bouquet, of white flowers, the gift of the bridegroom. The chief bridesmaid was Miss A. Peck, the second being Miss M. Genu. They wore white hailstone muslin and hats trimmed with tangerine, and carried bouquets of chrysanthemums and silver purses (gifts of the bridegroom). Wedding at Hawera, The wedding took place at Hawera last month of Miss May Walker, eldest daughter of Mr. T. H. 'Walker, of Hawera, to the Rev. Archer 0. Harris, late of Rongotea.
