ASSOCIATION.
THE SCHOOL COMPETITIONS. A meeting of the Schools Association Competitions Committee of the Wellington .Football Association was held in the Y.JI.C.A. Rooms yesterday afternoon. Arrangements w-era made fot; the control of the gnines to be played on Friday afternoons. These Friday nftetwoon games were rendered necessary owing to their being ins«ffi» cient grounds'available on Saturdays'.
It was recommended that Messrs. Marsden and AVorboys Ira added to the Competitions Committee.
Owing to the fact, that a number of clubs were undecided as to whether they would oilier a team for the competitions, the fixtures for the year were not yet available. It was decided that entries close on Monday, May 24. The draw for the games to be played on Friday ltext resulted as follows; — Northland v.. Karon, Anderson Park (Mr. Yeomans); ftosciioatli v. Kilbinlic, Kilbirnie (Mr. Worboys); South Wellington v. bland Bay, Dupiw Street (Mr. Sutton); Technical School v. Clyde Quay, Basin Reserve (Mr. Wells): To Aro v. Watfe*toum, Kelbtinie Park (Mr. ThroadirilD; Worscr Bay v. Maranai, No. I. Miramar (Mr. Arcus); Normal, a bye.
