Borcola, H iro Atu, and Silver Monarch wont twice over the fences, jumping well. Karimoi and Morihiko went a couple of rounds of the fences, jumping nicely. Cornelian appeared to better advantage than Aruake over the hurdles—two rounds. Gladiolc beat Kurapai and Fidessa easily over six furlongs in lmin. 19sec." Lady. Elgiva and John Willie wont six furlongs in linin. 20sec. Master Lupin covered seven in lmin. 34sec., Spalfish five in lmin. 3}sec., and Square Deal seven in lmin. 34sec. Arrivals include The Spaniard, Byron, Adroit, Red Book, Settler, and Espartero.
