COTTON MILLS ON FIRE
GREAT BLAZE IN LANCASHIRE. By Teleerapli—PrcES Association-Copyright London, Mav 17. Tho Bankfield cotton mills at Nelson, Lancashire, caught fire and wero in flames for half an hour. Damage to the extent of'£4ooo' was done. The firo was visible for n distance of ten miles. Seven hundred workpeople have been rendered idle.
