For milk and Lome-separated cream supplied ■ during April, tho Ballanco Dairy Company paid out £4190 last Friday (writes our Pahiatua correspondent). Tlio whey-skimming plant installed some months hack is giving every satisfaction, and is expected to fully justify its establisliment. A meeting of the General Committee of the AVairarapa and East Coast P. and A. -Society, was held on Friday, Mr. W. Henry Booth presiding. The New Zealand Kennel Club wrote intimating that tho challenge classes for 191-1 would he bearded collie and Irish water spaniel dogs. Mr. W. A. Douncs, of Clnreville, was elected a member. Tho Finance Committee reported that tenders for the purchase for removal of tho cottage on tho late Mr. F.rickson's estate, lately purchased by the society, had heeii dealt with, and it was decided not to accept anv, but that fresh tenders he advertised.
