For milk and Lome-separated cream supplied ■ during April, tho Ballanco Dairy Company paid out £4190 last Friday (writes our Pahiatua correspondent). Altliougb late in the season, the milk supply at thcrbutter and cheese factories in this district is being well maintained. The llexdalo iMangamaire) CheeseCompany forwarded a shipment.of 180 crates of cheese to Wellington on Satr imlay. The secretary of tho company, informed the Pahiatua correspondent of The Dominion that to date a very successful season has been experienced, and as the output has"been sold.at a.very satisfactory figure it was expected tlv.it a substantial bonus would be paid at tho end of the season. Tlio whey-skimming plant installed some months hack is giving every satisfaction, and is expected to fully justify its establisliment. A meeting of the General Committee of the AVairarapa and East Coast P. and A. -Society, was held on Friday, Mr. W. Henry Booth presiding. The New Zealand Kennel Club wrote intimating that tho challenge classes for 191-1 would he bearded collie and Irish water spaniel dogs. Mr. W. A. Douncs, of Clnreville, was elected a member. Tho Finance Committee reported that tenders for the purchase for removal of tho cottage on tho late Mr. F.rickson's estate, lately purchased by the society, had heeii dealt with, and it was decided not to accept anv, but that fresh tenders he advertised.
