Tho Hainburs'Aiiiwika steamer, IVinz Rigisimvml (4CSf) tons) brought a portion of the crew of the tramp steamer Cairnhill (4981 tons) from the Bismarck Ar* cliinelago, New Guinea. The. Cairnliill hit Nauru Island, in the Pacific Ocean,. west of the Gilbert Islands, on March 27, for Germany.
