RUGBY FOOTBALL.
THE FIXTURES FOR TO-DAY. After a brook of two weeks, Rugby games will bo resumed this afternoon, and tlio senior guinea set down for decision promise to provido interesting contests. Oriental and Athletic are meeting at Athletic Park, and both aro putting strong toams in tho field, the only notable absentee being E. Roberts, who will bo absent from tho Athletic backs. Tho Oriental team lias shown oxcellent football this season, and its supporters are sauguino of tho result in this afternoon's gamo with last year's champions. Tho other gamo at the park is that between Poneko and University. The Collego team has shown itself to "bo a formidable combination this season. At Petone tlio suburban team plays Wellington, and a_ keen struggle may bo seen. The showing of tho Wellington team will bo a good index as to what chance they wil|.havo when opposed to Athletic or Oriental. All fifth and sixth-class games liavo been postponed to-day in view of the Cadets' practico parade.
