SPEECH AT WANGANUr. (By Telegraph.—Pr«i Association.) Wanganul, May; 15. Sir Joseph Ward delivered' a political address at'Wanganui to-night. * The Opera House was packed, and : the Loader of the Opposition had an : excellent hearing. His speech covered the sumo ground as speeches delivered in other centres, no new .ground ' being broken. At the conclusion, Sir Joseph Ward, who was frequently applauded, was accorded a heart} , vote of thanks and confidence in him as leader of tho Liberal party, there being no dissentients.
