WANGANUI RESIDENCE. (Bγ Telesraoh.—Pros9 Association.) Wanganiil, May 14. A firo broke out at 2.1C a.m. at the residence of Mrs. J. 11. Nixon, Wangamii East. The building, of sixteen rooms, was totally destroyed, one of tho inmates having a narrow escape. Tho following arc the insurances:— £500 on tho house in the Royal Exchanuo Offico and £100 on the furniture in the Yorkshire Office.
